Emotional Detox
A guided somatic journey for reconnecting with your body, working with emotions differently and creating more capacity for life.
What Is Emotional Detox?
Emotional Detox is not about forcing difficult emotions away or endlessly analyzing them.
It is a guided exploration of how emotions are experienced through the body — bringing attention to the nervous system so that what has been held can be felt, expressed and integrated rather than suppressed, bypassed or endlessly replayed in the mind.
The work combines
Recognition
You’ve read the books, done therapy, podcasts, courses or self-development work. You understand intellectually why you react the way you do. Yet, certain patterns keep showing up.
You function. You perform. You show up. But underneath that, there may be tension, irritation, exhaustion, emotional numbness or the feeling that you’re constantly “on.”
Emotional overload doesn’t always look like crying. Sometimes it looks like overthinking, scrolling, procrastination, perfectionism, irritability or simply feeling numb or disconnected from yourself.
A relationship ending. A major life transition. Loss. Burnout. Success. A new chapter. Sometimes we move on intellectually before our bodies have had a chance to process what happened.
You want a deeper connection to your body, emotional range, creativity, pleasure, spontaneity and capacity to experience life to the fullest.
The Philosophy
Knowledge matters. But sometimes knowing why we feel something isn’t enough to change how it shows up in the body. Emotional Detox brings attention to the body and nervous system so that emotions can be experienced, expressed and integrated rather than endlessly analyzed, suppressed or bypassed.
The Journey
Orienting, grounding, nervous-system regulation, self-touch, gentle movement and practices that help establish greater capacity and safety.
Breath, voice, body awareness, movement, shaking, fascia and practices that support the movement of held activation.
Working with emotions such as anger, grief, fear, guilt and shame — not by forcing them away, but by learning to allow and move through them.
Guided somatic journeys and imagery designed to support letting go, trust, transformation and renewed access to creativity and pleasure.

Questions
Emotional Detox is for people who have done a fair amount of self-development or therapeutic work and sense that something is still being held in the body. It is not a beginner’s introduction to mindfulness, nor is it a substitute for psychotherapy. It is for anyone who feels ready to approach emotions through the body rather than through analysis alone.

You don’t need to be. Many people who join don’t consider themselves emotional — they notice tension, numbness, overthinking or disconnection instead. Emotional Detox works with the full spectrum of how experience lives in the body, not only with visible emotion.
Every practice includes grounding and regulation tools, and the program is structured to build capacity gradually. You are always invited to slow down, pause or stop. If you have a history of trauma or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified provider before joining.
